"Alternative Judgement Writing"

Society for Constitutional Law & Human Rights presents "Alternative Judgement Writing."

The previous year witnessed a proactive judiciary giving out a series of landmark judgments which were applauded by many and criticized by some. So, this IGNITE 2019 (Ignite, UPES Dehradun) we invite you to write an alternate judgment which you find satisfactory and appealing to the society at large.

ABOUT THE EVENT-

Each individual participant will be provided with case law and 60 minutes. Within the given time the participants will apply their own judicial thought and produce an alternate yet satisfactory and appealing judgment other than the real judgment of the case in 1000 - 1500 words. The participant will be judged on the basis of their reasoning to justify the same.

DETAILS-• Both internal and external participation is allowed.• Registration fee- Rs. 100/-• On-spot registration is available for both internal and external participation.• The decision of the organizing committee will be final in case of any conflict.
